Objectives

THE PARTY OBJECTIVES

To campaign, agitate, and advocate for the establishment of a Federal System of Political Governance within the Republic that ensures that decision making whether policy or legislative is devolved to the Regional Assemblies and District Councils or any equivalent Institutions.

To acquire political power, vest it in the people and retain it there in perpetuity through participatory instruments of Governance at all levels from the villages to the National level.

To strive at establishing National Constitutional Structures, institutions and systems that guarantee equitable ownership, management and distribution of National Wealth and all natural resources such as land, the environment, water and minerals for the benefit of the communities of the regions where these resources are found.

To promote the formation and to nurture Democratic Institutions and practices in all spheres of production, distribution and enjoyment of wealth so as to safeguard the rights and interests of workers (through Trade Unions), peasants (through Produce, Marketing and Consumer Associations), artisans, professionals (through Professional and Craft Associations) and communities (through Resident and Welfare Associations).

To compete for political power, that is, to nominate and field candidates to contest for all political offices at the Civic, Regional and National levels of Governance throughout the country.

To afford it’s members the means of participating in political activities within the Republic, the Community of Nations such as the United Nations, The African Union, The East African Community and any other International Body or Organization within the bounds of the relevant laws.

To promote and defend adherence to the rule of the Law and the maintenance of an impartial, independent, just and incorruptible Judiciary.

To promote the domestication and adherence of all United Nations Charters, Treaties and Declarations ratified by the Republic that uphold human right and civil liberties of the people.

To promote and protect civil, economic, political and Human Rights in order to enhance democracy, economic prosperity, social advancement, social justice and the rule of Law.

To advocate and campaign for equal opportunities to all, irrespective of fender, age, race, religion and disability in all political, economic and social activities and where circumstances require to advocate for the attainment of this objective.

To establish a legal regime within the Republic that promotes and protects the working conditions of the Republic’s work force whether public or private, permanent or casual, by establishing just, fair and adequate remuneration, housing, medical, pension and insurance schemes to all employees.

To ensure the provision, by the state, of social, economic, and political services so that the people raise their standards of living.

To promote a National value system and democratic culture that guarantees transparency and accountability.

To enable Kenyans to integrate all positive cultural values from their diverse traditions in all spheres of community and National development.

To enable Kenyans to promote their talents in all cultural and sporting activities in the Regional, National and International levels.

To enable Kenyans enjoy guaranteed freedom of worship.

I n it’s endeavor to achieve the aforesaid objectives, the Party shall always be guided by social ecological democratic norms and principles modified to suit the changing political circumstances.
